This place is a little hole in the wall with just enough room . The staff were very nice and welcoming . They encouraged my son to come see how the jainbing was being made . It was so flavorful and big they cut it in half and put one piece in each bag so it can be shared , the crunchy Wontons give the right enough texture

It's good and cheap at $5 per jian bing. They are fast and preparing it and make it fresh in front of you. I thought that they were a tad dry for my taste, however, and just the cracker left me wanting something more savory. I would recommend getting one with meat in the future. However, solid spot to grab a quick fresh breakfast, authentically made. They don't have seating inside--counter cash order only but you can wait inside while they make it.

The best jian bing spot I've had in the US. Eight Jane serves a variety of breakfast options, but their most popular is the 煎饼果子 (jian bing guo zi), a classic Chinese breakfast street food originating from Tianjin. My order is always a jian bing ($5) with no cilantro, mild spice, and no additional toppings, though you can also choose to add protein such as beef and sausage. The jian bing is made to order and the staff are super friendly. Such a good deal for a delicious and hearty breakfast / snack!

$5 jian bing (salty breakfast crepe) was a great start to our Flushing food tour. You can get it with crispy wontons or fried dough (you tiao). Extra optional $2 for meat. It's a pretty big jian bing and would be filling for 1 person. It's all made to order so your food comes out piping hot - it took about 5 minutes. It's just a food stand so there's nowhere to sit - it is street food after all! It's not the best jian bing I've ever had, but it was tasty and satisfied the craving. I would definitely add this place to your list!

Eight Jane is a Flushing staple and worth trying. Quick service, cash only take out spot. There's usually a line outside but moves fairly quickly. After trying it again recently, it wasn't as good as before but maybe just a bad day. Probably wouldn't go out of the way to try again but solid spot.

We ordered the jianbing (pancake) and youtiao (fried donuts) and both were solid! The jianbing is a steal at $5, and the youtiao at $2. There was no wait on the weekend and they make it fresh. With it being fresh it also was served really quickly!

I have heard about this place a while ago. I wanted to try the jianbing so badly. I was really happy that I found this place. I ordered their jianbing (minus the greens) which is a Chinese crepe (wheat and grain) two eggs spread on top as crepe is cooking. Then they spread three savory/spicy sauces. Topped with scallion, cilantro plus three deep fried crackers then all of this is folded together. I also had to order their Chinese fried doughnut stick because it was a staple in my home growing up. The jianbing had a unique taste to it but it was warm and crunchy which was satisfying because I was hungry. The fried doughnut stick was so fresh, fluffy and chewy omg was so good. Everything was so reasonably priced, plus there were other items on their menu that I want to try.

Holy cow! This was delicious! I can't wait to come back!!! $8 for the Jianbing with beef. The lady that made mine was so sweet and kind. Delicious. Savory. Flavorful beef. Good luck from the spice. Can't wait to come back

Just for $5, get a steaming hot egg crepe - the only choices you have to make is: 1) wonton cracker or yotya, 2) spicy or not spicy. We got the wonton cracker for an added crunch and went for the spicy - which was a good call as it was more flavorful, not predominantly spicy though.
